The Company

Limelight Theatre was founded in 2008 by Jan Stewart and started as a vision to simply produce a musical. What started as one musical quickly grew into a company which had a vision to become the premiere professional musical theatre venue in the Suburban Maryland-D.C. region. Limelight Theatre has an aggressive plan to grow very rapidly as both a company and in its production season due to a highly motivated staff and board. Although future productions will likely be musicals, non-musical productions will be considered as the company heads into its second season
